Kundalini yoga is considered the "mother-yoga" as it incorporates asana (movement), pranayam (breath) and mantra (sound) for an overall transformative experience. Kundalini yoga is also referred to as "the yoga of self awareness" as it works on the nervous and glandular systems to energize, activate and awaken the connection between mind, body and spirit. Practitioners experience decreased stress, deeper levels of connection, increased vitality and awakened creative potential.
